Methodology

1. Sources: official publisher and platform channels first (PlayStation.Blog, Xbox Wire, developer sites, press releases), then established press.
2. Labels: confirmed facts carry citations. Our inferences are marked "Analysis" or "Our read." Unannounced products (such as a PS6) are only discussed as labeled analysis.
3. Updates: every breakdown shows its published and updated dates, and we revise when new official information appears.
4. Corrections: errors are fixed promptly and noted on the page.
5. Independence: affiliate relationships never change our conclusions.
